Last night was a blast and that's saying something if it's porn related and I am not not necessarily required to be there for work. I met a lot of new people in the industry and a lot of friends became better friends. Thanks for the night that was had last night everyone!

What promises to be one of the most highly anticipated shows, COCKTAILS WITH THE STARS is set to splash back onto the scene on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 6 p.m. - a new time for the show! What has been a staple for the porn community featuring the hottest gay porn stars, introducing them to their fans and promoting their latest movies.

Join your hosts Scotty B and Angel Benton for what they promise will be an unmatched return featuring surprises, giveaways and of course... porn stars!

Throughout 'Cocktails' history it has continually raised the bar on what a porn star show should be. Incorporating the most in demand hot porn stars with some of the wildest hosts, the weekly event has evolved to what Scotty B describes as "the hottest mess you'll ever witness... in a good way! From previous hosts like Will Clark and Jason Sechrest to porn stars like Matthew Rush or the boys of RandyBlue.com, the show is always evolving.

"I'm ecstatic that Micky's and 'Cocktails' are returning, the wait has seemed like forever!" says Scotty B. "I can't wait to start inviting the Internet studios back and some of the new up-and-coming porn stars."

Keeping with present technology, 'Cocktails' has teamed with the site NickYoungXXX (www.nickyoungxxx.com) to broadcast the show weekly to the world - a first for the show. This teaming is thanks to Nick Young and the management at Micky's.

"Broadcasting the show has been a work in progress even while the bar was still in rubble, we just needed a reliable company to help, and with me already interviewing/working for Nick Young, the choice was obvious," says Scotty B.

Another first for the show is having two permanent hosts. Angel Benton explains, "Gay porn is such a huge industry now that there are literally events going on all over the world, and Scotty and I have to stay on top of that. With two of us, if one of us needs to be out of town attending an event, the other one has the show covered. And if we're BOTH in town, then the audience gets twice the fun!"

The opening night celebration will actually feature a wide variety of porn stars. The guest the following week, April 23rd, will be Cockyboys.com Exclusive (as well as star of Buckshot's "Boy Country") Bobby Clark, who will be promoting his upcoming co-hosting gig at the Grabbys Recovery Brunch in Chicago. APPLE/TEMPTATION REVIEW

On Thursday night Nick Young and Jon went out to the new restaurant/night club entity called Apple. Before 10 p.m. it's a lavish WeHo eatery - after 10 expect to be ushered out so they can quickly move the tables around to accommodate the hordes of people that come to see the new fixtures.

The space that now occupies Apple has been transformed and renamed so many things over the past ten years I've lost track. The new owners of Apple have spent quite a lot of money making the restaurant a spectacular feast for the eyes - however even though the food is pretty good, I'm afraid the prices and smaller portions will keep most of the curious onlookers away.

Overall my Roasted Chicken was a truly special dish that couldn't be copied by any other restaurant and it was hearty enough to fill me up - believe it or not! I definitely suggest you order it if you want to be fed for a nominal price yet leave satisfied. I also was happy to be able to say that I tasted what Minnesota Wild Rice is - and I was with an OFFICIAL Minnesotan at that, yes Nick Young was made in that state *wink*!

After dinner we stuck around to see Chi Chi deejay and Jason Sechrest, I am not sure what he does.... lol!
We hung out with Howard and Gio from Fabscout, Brandon Baker, Rusty - LOVE HIM, Mason Ross, Michael Stabile, T-Ball and a few others that their name escapes me at the moment. Brandon was a complete sweet heart as always and told me that I am a tad intimidating. When he told me that I was flabbergasted - me off all people I wouldn't consider intimidating. If you weren't aware Brandon Baker and I worked in the same office for nearly two years and he was one of the kids that I loved seeing everyday when I came to work. Oh, Brandon also told me that there is some sort of a conflict right now between Jason Sechrest and Angel Benton....hmmmm. When I asked where my Angel was Brandon said that he wouldn't come because it was Jason's night at Apple/Temptation. I respect both of these boys so I hope they work out their differences.... it would be sad to see their friendship die like Brandon Baker's porn career *wink*

The last think I will say about Temptation was that the crowds have seem to DRAMATICALLY dwindled over the past three or four weeks. My BFF said that he attended the first week and the crowd was amazing, filled with fresh, cute faces. The following week I attended to see my friend Francois Sagat perform and although I thought the club was pretty packed, Joseph said that the club was not as full as opening night.
While I think it was because Chi Chi wasn't there, Joseph thought that everyone wanted to just take a peak at the club. I have to admit that the prices for cocktails were a tad rediculous! C'mon, $42 for three Red Bull and vodka, that's a lot of money. Have I blogged about this already? Hmm, well when I asked the bartender why it was so much money he said they automatically pour Belvedere. I wouldn't have minded so much if the drinks weren't served in a small bucket glass - at least at The Abbey you get your moneys worth when they charge you $13 for a drink. Again, I don't see Apple staying in business too long with those prices, even the gay's don't like to spend a lot of money on frivolous cocktails that you end up feeling cheated on.

Getting back to the crowds at Apple (or lack there of), on Thursday Chi Chi's room was packed - OF COURSE, but the main room downstairs that introduced WeHo to a fabulous dancer swimming in a champagne glass was absent - in fact they didn't open the room until after midnight!! When we went to the bar a few weeks ago they made us enter in from that room and leave from the front of the club, now they changed the setup and people leave and line up in front of the club - MUCH BETTER!!!

I think if Temptation doesn't make it then Jason and Chi Chi should continue their Thursday night show downstairs at Apple still, it's a lot of fun and I would go on a weekly basis, even if others don't care for it - FUCK EM!

COMING TO TOWN

I love when friends from out of town come to Los Angeles to visit. I especially like when people that I haven't seen in forever come to town to visit - like Francois Sagat!

Yesterday he texted me that Jason Sechrest, Chi Chi LaRue and club promoter Paul Nichols are brining him to town to open their party at Apple in the middle of October 15! Francois is not a cheap booking so they are, of course paying TOP BOOKING price for Sagat - as they should! Sagat is the biggest porn star of our time and he deserves the fee he charges. Anyhoo, business aside, I am hoping we can spend some time together and hang out like we did last time he was in town - that was a fun week! I am thinking about Knotts Scary Farm, we will see if Howard Marr approves!

I can't wait to see Francois and Howard. Howard and I had a lengthy conversation last night about the industry and some important issues going on right now. I respect Howard and Francois for the people they are, the image both have maintained and the individual, respectable people they both have stayed. Trust me, it's not easy to do when you are in the adult industry!

Big Brother Photos Posted!!!

Half of the pictures that we took at the CBS Backlot Party for Big Brother 10 are now posted on my MySpace. I have been reluctant to write about the night in depth because I know hardly anyone cares but I can mention some highlites of the MAGICAL night - yes magical bitches!!

The important people I wanted to meet I gathered up the courage to meet. Mostly those were the winner of BB10 Dan, who wasn't overly friendly to me but Chi Chi says that he was friendly to her so maybe he loves drag queens. What am I saying? Everyone loves a drag queen. Er, maybe not, strike that! Chi Chi said that Ollie wasn't too welcoming! So Dan said 'Hello' to me and was a bit standoffish but you could tell that he is sweet guy... LOVE HIM TO PIECES!!!!

I met the gay bull riding champion, Steven as well. I accidentally called him Brian which he got all bent out of shape about for like 30 seconds, but then was sweet as ever. He came back to The Abbey with Chi Chi and hung out, what a genuine guy! Rumor has it that him, Steve Cruz and Johnny Hazzard were fond of each other. Libra was fantabulous! Friendly and so friggin' warm! I met others from last season as well but the one I couldn't wait to meet the most was RENNY. I called her America's Favorite Mom! Renny was easily the most popular person at the event. At all times Renny had men and women around her, asking for pictures, autographs, etc...

Renny and I spoke for at least five minutes and she told me to stop by and see her in New Orleans when I am in town, how sweet! When Dee Dee gives me the pictures I will post the rest, and believe me, he has the best ones! Speaking of Dee Dee, she really came through for me. I honestly can't remember a time when I was anymore elated and floating off the floor. While most guests/invitees there had a look of entitlement to be there, I knew that I was so fortunate to be there and I kept thanking Dee Dee for inviting me. Dee Dee, do you read my blog? If you do, I LOVE YOU!!! Thank you again for inviting me... now gimme the pics bitch! =)

DIVAS TO THE GAY BAR PLEEEEASE!!!

Last night I met a diva incarnate! Maybe I am embellishing a tad, but Chelsea from Big Brother 9 was a mouthy, honest girl that I admired for her straight talking and blunt approach.

Chi Chi told me that some of the cast of Big Brother 9 might be at a popular West Hollywood bar last night so of course I had to take my happy ass down to the bar just in case Crazy James, Sheila, Matty (yah, God I wish) or Chelsea showed up. Normally I don't get all goo-goo crazy over celebrities - I am actually the total opposite, unless you're a contestant on Big Brother and I loved your ass - case in point: Chelsea!

I saw her walk into the bar with a former Big Brother contestant and I had to go up to her and tell her 'hello!' When I approached her she was so sweet and kind. She also invited me to hang in her cabana but I didn't stay too long after she mentioned it, it was time to go home and call it a night - you know I had that big date the next day to get ready for *wink*!!!

DOG DRAMA

It's been a while since I've written about my dog, JJ! He has his own picture folder on MySpace but hardly is mentioned on my blog, sorry pup!

I've been dog sitting the past few days for my good friend Johnny Hazzard (www.hazzardcentral.com.) Make sure you check out his website and become a member, he's a worthy star to be a fan of and a good guy to boot! I first met Johnny at Fubar in West Hollywood when Chi Chi LaRue had her Wednesday night club Dirty Deeds every week.
I was relatively new to the industry and I don't think I knew Chi Chi very well yet, or maybe I did, not sure! My bud TJ obsesses over Johnny and I think we were going to meet there but that didn't happen. I remember meeting Johnny and then calling TJ so he could talk to his porn idol... ever since then we've been pretty good friends. The thing what I like most about Johnny is that he's an honest person with a good work ethic. I love to be around people that have a good energy around them and he is just that!


His white pit bull mix pup Petey, above, has been here since Saturday with JJ and they've been (sorta) getting along. Here's the deal, JJ love to play and Petey doesn't really want to. JJ gets too crazy and Petey has to put JJ in his place, I am behind Petey 100 percent.

Do you see how crazy and involved I have become with these two?? Here are some pictures that I've captured from their days together... they are so crazy!!!
The picture above is of JJ and Petey after they both got into trouble. I made them lay down where they were at that point and told them not to move. The funny thing, if you notice, is the placement of JJ's tail. It rested on Petey's face and it didn't move for the next several minutes until they were done with their timeout!

The picture below is not my favorite. Prefacing the picture with I love Jason Sechrest, I am not quite sure why he wears makeup - HE SO DOESN'T NEED IT. I mean, c'mon he is better looking without it and I only think makeup goes well on drag queens and people who are trying to cover up their track marks, black eyes or tired, drugged out raccoon eyes! Jason, take it off... you're not needing this eye liner and mascara, you are already a knockout.

This made my day! What you see is my friend Victor Banda attempting to throw a penny in the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Behind the camera is Chi Chi LaRue directing him to do so... she had major difficulties trying to get him to do the task at hand - Obvioiusly! Check it out... you'll laugh!
