Very few bands do these kind of unplugged performances anymore, the following are not only amazing to listen to but also showcase Depeche Mode's ability to still sound good LIVE! The song 'Wrong' gets my vote for best overall sounding song, but the song 'Corrupt,' shows how cocky Dave can be and how he gets into the role of the lyrics. On another note, the song 'Wrong,' is nothing like the other songs on the album, extremely different, but you'll have to wait and see what I'm talking about *wink*!!!

MODE SAYS NO TO 8
It's no big secret that I worship the ground that Depeche Mode walks on, but as of today not only do I love their music but I also love their politics. As you can see from the picture above Depeche Mode clearly supported VOTING NO ON PROP 8. To see the entire clip and read more about my favorite band log onto the official Depeche Mode site: www.DepecheMode.com and click on the NEWS section. If you want to see the full clip and move on with your life press play below, performing both will make me extremely happy!

MIRROR
A new music compilation came out yesterday that has some amazing music on it. Including a butt load of great artists including Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, this album called "Mirror," is a dark album but the results and sounds are fantastic! Dave's voice sounds very 'Songs of Faith and Devotion' era. Frances Lawson also has a great track on this album too. I just wish all music nowadays was as cohesive and solid as this album is. But it! You'll like it! That's it!

DAVE GAHAN'S HOURGLASS
I just finished listening to the new Dave Gahan album entitled "Hourglass." My first commentary is the album sounds nothing like the first single "Kingdom." On the contrary it sounds more like the second single called "Deeper and Deeper" on his official MySpace page.
Smart, dark, gritty, and intelligent are just some words I am using to describe it.
I'm not sure how much I can reveal without getting in trouble but my favorite track thus far is SAW SOMETHING. For some reason I always enjoy the first track on any album. Have you heard the first song/intro to the new She Wants Revenge album?
That's what I'm talking about baby... Very electro-industrial!
