COMMERCIALS MAKE ME CRY?

EVERY TIME I SEE A PROP 8 AD ON YOUTUBE, THE TELEVISION OR ON MYSPACE I CRY - IS THAT SO PECULIAR? Why do I cry? I thought about this for a few days and then came to the conclusion that this one single proposition will affect thousands of my friends who also have the desire to marry the one they love. This proposition I feel is more divisive and important than its predecessor Proposition seven years ago (Proposition 22, if you're not aware of this prop then please look it up.) These are the two latest commercials that I have found online that will make you think about voting NO on Proposition 8.

MAKING ME CRY

For the very first time the idea of voting moves me to tears. Maybe it's becuase of Proposition 8, maybe it's because that the next President that we choose is probably the most vital leader the USA has elected yet. Whatever the reason my tears are for the video below didn't help much - throughout this entire video I acted like a complete baby. I hope you enjoy and thank you to Perez Hilton for giving us a chance to watch it!

THE CITY IS AT WAR

I'm trying to save money so unfortunately I can't allow myself to buy tickets to this MUST SEE show on Thursday featuring one of my favorite bands of 2008 Cobra Starship. This band is fun and has been gaining a lot of attention since they had a song included in the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack. If you haven't heard of Cobra Starship I highly recommend you check their shit out... it's the good shit *wink!!!

Check out the video to 'The City is at War,' by Cobra Starship.. they are bad ass, sounding a little like Panic! At the Disco but just a tad bit more fun!

JUST BEING THANKFUL

If you noticed the economy sucks and the times we're living in are just about as shitty as ever! I hope that doesn't sound too negative, because I always try to look for the positive in everything but besides gas going down, the good ole' US of A is not doing so good - and the world as well.

Last night my brother and I went to dinner with my somewhat liberal aunt and my conservative uncle - they shall remain nameless. Our dinner table discussion was almost exactly like the customers I wait on at Beckham Grill in Pasadena. The biggest thing I came away with was how lucky I am to be in a safe neighborhood and have a house that will not be taken away from me because I can't afford it or because of foreclosure. Most kids aren't lucky enough to have inherited a home from their parents that loved them - I am lucky enough, thank God. It's not that I am not thankful but I just don't think about how thankful I should be on a daily basis and I need to start giving thanks daily for the things I have - like my house!

Some of my friends are reorganizing their lives drastically to fit the pocket book and whether or not they blog about it I notice it.

PUMPKINS

DO YOU KNOW WHICH ONE I CARVED AND WHICH ONE THE 'ITALIAN' CARVED AT THE HOLLYWOOD FOREVER CEMETERY SCREENING OF THE MOVIE 'CARRIE'???? LET ME KNOW...

UGLY BETTY SAYS 'NO!'

I think Proposition 8 and Gay Marriage is on top of anyone's docket that has or will be affected by the discriminatory measure. This morning I noticed on YouTube that the stars of the hit show Ugly Betty spoke out AGAINST Proposition 8. While the commercial the three stars did in English was affective, the commercial translated in Spanish really hits home - the commercial below will hit thousands of Spanish speaking homes and will hopefully change the minds of people who think marriage is about one man and one woman - HOPEFULLY!

MY BRANDON BAKER POST

There aren't many people in West Hollywood that you know have your back and you won't catch trying to stab you in the back to get what they want. In my opinion Brandon Baker is one of the most honorable people I have ever met, and that's saying something, I've met a lot of people!

Brandon Baker and I were able to hang out for few hours on Thursday when he came to tape some footage for a the NickYoung website I am helping with. Brandon is quick on his feet and also quick with his fingers - he already posted a blurb to his readers about his time with me - boy that boy's sweet!

He also posted a blurb about men who SHOULD be hookers but aren't... I guess that's a good thing, LOL!! Check it out below, and thanks Brandon... oh if you want to read his daily updated blog please log onto

THEY KEPT VICKY

Even though I haven't seen Little Britain USA on HBO I check out the clips on occasion on YouTube. I am so relieved that they kept Vicky Pollard character on board! The clip above is hilarious and she makes me LOL when she calls her private part 'Dawson's Creek!!!'

APPLE COMES OUT!!!

I am even PROUDER Mac/Apple owner than I was yesterday because of the following article... what do you think?

No on Prop 8
Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign. Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights — including the right to marry — should not be affected by their sexual orientation. Apple views this as a civil rights issue, rather than just a political issue, and is therefore speaking out publicly against Proposition 8.

LIFE ON MARS

Did you happen to see Life on Mars tonight? If you didn't, I have one word to describe the episode I saw - UNFORGETTABLE!

Taking up the issue of gay life in the year 1973, I am not saying this show is so dynamic just because they did one episode on homosexuality! I've been watching the show for the last three weeks and all of the episodes have been well written and dynamic, I think ABC has themselves a hit! If you didn't know (because I didn't until I looked it up, but Life on Mars was originally a show over in Great Britain. After it became a success over there then it was brought to America. These days shows seem to travel all over the world being rewritten to suit the country it is being broadcast in. Shows like Little Britain, Kath and Kim, Dancing with the Stars, Big Brother, and Life on Mars are just some shows that originally debuted abroad!)

Tonight the episode was about gay bashing and gay(s) who served in the Vietnam War. I will not give away all of the juicy details of this episode but if you watch it'll definitely teach you something about tolerance and your choice of words when addressing your fellow man!

Log onto www.abc.com to watch the full episode of Life on Mars, you will surely like!!!

CARRIE AT THE CEMETERY

I cannot wait until this Saturday!!!

A bunch of us are going to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to see the final movie of the season 'Carrie.' Carrie was such a memorable movie to see when I was younger because the book companion was one of the first (if not the first) horror book I had ever read. If you haven't read the book I highly suggest you read it - NOW! It's almost nothing like the movie and it almost feels like you are reading a compiled list of memoirs from the friends and witnesses that saw Carrie's rage. When I read the book I was still in my teens and I think I believed that the story was based on actual events for a few months - it was that believable!

If you aren't doing anything on Saturday evening and you want to come out and have a good time then meet us at the cemetery around 5:30 to see one of the best Halloweenie movies ever! Oh!, please be sure to bring lots of goodies to nibble on as well as some wine to pass around to all the friends you're going to make that night - a good time will be had for all!

PLAYING CATCH UP

My life has been so crazy the last two weeks that I haven't had ten minutes to blog - yah that crazy!

The 'Italian' and I are still together and things are really going extremely well! It still weirds me out to say 'my boyfriend and I' but on the opposite side of the coin it's comforting to know that there is someone in this confusing city that likes me as much as I like them! I guess the best word to sum up the relationship between us two is 'effortless.' It seems like anything and pretty much EVERYTHING we do is effortless and comes natural to us. We never argue on what to do, where to go and each others friends - he loves Tj, Chris, Moses and I think Derrick *wink* and the few friends of his I've met seem extremely nice and welcoming.

Last weekend we attended a Halloween party thrown by my distant buddy Mario in Downey. Mario always throws the best party's and the turn outs are always amazing, this time he had well over 200 people of of which most of them were in costume - 'Italian' and I were NOT! I was a bit disappointed that we didn't dress as 'ketchup' and 'mustard' or something like that but the time permitted was minimal so we couldn't get it together in time! =(

Regardless we still had a great time and he was able to hang out with Moses and Derrick so that's a good thing! I think we called it quits at about 1 a.m. and then we went home. The next morning he surprised me and took me to a restaurant in Marina Del Ray for brunch (I think the restaurant was called Shangai Red's, I'm not quite sure) which was extremely nice. We arrived around noon and we ate brunch facing the marina and while it was a tad cold it was nice that it was just him and I - no JJ or anyone else.

DID YOU EVER FEEL LIKE...

Did you ever feel like the world hated you? The last few days have felt like it's been on a SHIT ON SCOTT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

From press releases that didn't tell the entire truth, interviews that mysteriously fell through and MySpace messages not being returned, it's hard not to take it personal!

Last week sucked, I hope this week is a tad better!

NO ON PROP 8

Before Proposition 8 was even on the ballot, comedian Wanda Sykes gave her analogy of gay marriage and why it shouldn't be such a big ordeal. If you want to laugh for a few minutes than press PLAY and listen to Sykes candid commentary!

HOW DO I FEEL?

I don't know exactly how I feel about these stilettos for preemies. Watching Jimmy Kimmel last night, he had a kick-ass spoof on these shoes called the "HEELARIOUS" baby shoes.
Would you want your baby crawling around in these faux high heels? On one hand they could be a great Halloween costume, however if you were to strap these suckers on your baby daily I don't know how I'd feel about that. Check out the story that ABC News did on their website, written by Susan Donaldson James: http://tinyurl.com/4wjr8f

FOR THE RECORD

Palin's son is NOT fighting in Iraq for that man's right to protest. Her son is fighting in Iraq for Iraq's freedom and their right to protest, hence the name "Operation Iraqi Freedom." Isn't that still the name of the war we are fighting?

UPDATE: MY CAR

I got a call from my car mechanic today and to fix my car should be under $100 - what a sigh of relief, now Joseph and Miriam can receive birthday gifts from me - I'm not kidding!

ARE WE REALLY?

So it seems that I have a boyfriend now. 'The Italian' and I have known each other for little over a month and things have gone extremely well. I was in his car a few nights ago and he mentioned to his friend that he was speaking with on his cell phone that he was with his 'boyfriend.' - that would be me! I guess I cannot go onto Adam4Adam and can cancel my unused membership to ManHunt *wink* - sorry Adam, your site never produced results for me!

'The Italian' treats me like gold, which is rare, usually I date the kind of guys that I need to baby, pay for, and treat them like gold. It is nice that two guys can do the same for each other, equally!

MORE MONEY, MORE PROBLEMS - SORTA

The last few days have tested my mental strength on how I handle life. The situations that have come into my daily path I feel are tests from some kind of god in order to prepare me for something greater. I know - that might sound a little off but that's what it has seemed like.

Still trying to maneuver through the storm, I am hoping that I come out of this next week unscathed... to say the least. For the friends that keep up with my daily life: Yes, the money problem is still there. I don't want to put what the 'situation' is on the Internet - YET, but likely will tell the world if the resolution doesn't come by Monday. I won't say much but you will likely read it on one of the daily sites I log onto for 'my community.' It's awful that for almost four months now the situation still doesn't have a resolution and the 'creator' of this problem still doesn't want to budge and just give me what is rightfully mine. UGH!!!

Minutes before all the money issues came back into play, I found a note at my car from a stranger that was probably the sweetest note I've ever found. A stranger had written this letter in Spanish and English saying that my car was leaking gas out of the tank and that it could be extremely dangerous. There was no phone number, or name (I don't think) the only thing that I noticed was a *BE SAFE* on it, which was comforting, even if I was around friends - I guess it was the fact that someone was wishing me well, even if they had no idea of who I was, what political party I was affiliated with etc...

May 2008 coverThe day started out pretty good. I had a list of all the things I needed to accomplish and I had half of my 'need to do' items taken care of. I was in West Hollywood at my friend/boss Douglas' house filming some new stuff for the site he has - I can't say anymore, except it includes the guy you to your left - what a tease I am! We finished recording I went out to my car with Ashley to mail a package for Collin O'Neal *sigh* when I found the letter! After finding the letter I had to call AAA three times, have the Fire Department come out *blazing sirens and all the bells and whistles - literally* and make sure the car was safe to tow and try to fix my problem - and they did!!! The unattractive, yet helpful firefighters patched up the hole in my gas line so I could get home - safely. They didn't advise me driving it but I had no choice. AAA wouldn't tow me with my basic membership - NOTE TO SELF, AND OTHERS, just pay $25 and get the PLUS membership which guarantees you 100 mile tow servivce. I had it the year before but didn't bother to renew it because I never used it - WHAT LUCK!!!!* Driving home I went over a bump which I thought was the end of my life, my heart literally stopped and skipped five beats. I also had to avoid a cigarette flicked out the window of a car - FUCKERS. I could imagine the cigarette spark ignighting my car on fire - that'
s my luck people!

Today, at work I finally got my car towed so the local mechanic could assess the damage of my Mustang - poor baby, he's only ten years old! I hope the damage is not over $500, if it is then I will either need to jump on Rentboy or donate my blood - hopefully I have the blood that turns into cash!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Depeche Mode's new tour has leaked onto the Internet, supposedly it will be called "Tour of the Universe," could this be remotely true? The last few tours haven't had a good ring in my ear, for example, Touring the Angel, which was a play off their last album "Playing the Angel."

On the website www.depeche-mode.com they are reporting/speculating the first few dates of the tour in Europe. Initially I wanted to see them in Berlin, Paris, London and Spain but I think Berlin might not be possible, MODE plays Berlin on June 10 and then plays Paris on the 27th, that is 20plus days a part, I think I might go to Bratislava, Slovakia and Prague of the Czech Republic instead and then go on to Paris to see them.

10/05 - Tel Aviv, Israel
12/05 - Athens, Greece
14/05 - Istanbul, Turkey
04/06 - Düsseldorf, Germany
10/06 - Berlin, Germany
12/06 - Frankfurt, Germany
13/06 - Munich, Germany
22/06 - Bratislava, Slovakia
25/06 - Prague, Czech Republic
27/06 - Paris, France
02/07 - Bergen, Norway

The MODE press conference announcing their new tour and new album will be on October 6, 2008 and will be broadcast LIVE on the Internet. For me I will have to wake up at 4:30 a.m. to see it as it streams on www.DepecheMode.com - ugh, that is so freakin' early!

MARRIAGE IS AN AMAZING THING

Last night my coworker and I were talking about marriage and what makes it work - or not work. Regardless if you are straight or gay, marriage is a tough challenge to make work everyday - and that's not even brining children into the equation.

I shared with Roxanne about my parents marriage and how my dad had a million extracurricular activities and my mother made the deicsion to either join him or stay home - most of the time she stayed home, avoiding the Pomona Gun Show, or the local chapter gun meetings, or his Optimist groups and his yearly Mountain Man Deer Hunting trips. My mother wasn't interested in his gun activities so she decided to stay at home.

Roxanne then asked if my fathers current wife shared any interests with my father and I had to admit that his wife, Jackie, has a lot in common with my father and takes an active part in his social activities. Roxanne commented that their similiarities must make it an easier marriage and more fun then my fathers previous marriage with my mother.

I DISAGREED - bare with me, you will see where I'm going!

I can only remember one fight my parents got into, I was maybe 7 years old. Besides taht fight I can never remember my parents fighting, yelling or not talking because of a disagreement. They had virtually nothing in common except the love they had for one another - that's pretty amazing in my eyes. It goes to show that you can marry someone that you share a million interests with but if the love and mutual respect is not present then your marriage will ultimately fail. My parents are prime example of this!

I hope that came across... what a testament!

I JUST WET MY PANTS

YOU CAN'T GET ANY FUNNIER THAN THIS!!!!

BILL MAHER LIVE!

I saw Bill Maher live numerous years ago at Cal State Univeristy, Long Beach and he was pretty amazing. He was on The View yesterday and he was equally amazing! I loved how he called out Sarah Palin and Sherri Shepherd. Bill is a bit too liberal but he had some great points! He made numerous great valid Religious conflictions including Noah was 900 years old! I love you, but c'mon Sherri... how true could that be?

COMING TO TOWN

I love when friends from out of town come to Los Angeles to visit. I especially like when people that I haven't seen in forever come to town to visit - like Francois Sagat!

Yesterday he texted me that Jason Sechrest, Chi Chi LaRue and club promoter Paul Nichols are brining him to town to open their party at Apple in the middle of October 15! Francois is not a cheap booking so they are, of course paying TOP BOOKING price for Sagat - as they should! Sagat is the biggest porn star of our time and he deserves the fee he charges. Anyhoo, business aside, I am hoping we can spend some time together and hang out like we did last time he was in town - that was a fun week! I am thinking about Knotts Scary Farm, we will see if Howard Marr approves!

I can't wait to see Francois and Howard. Howard and I had a lengthy conversation last night about the industry and some important issues going on right now. I respect Howard and Francois for the people they are, the image both have maintained and the individual, respectable people they both have stayed. Trust me, it's not easy to do when you are in the adult industry!

MIRROR

A new music compilation came out yesterday that has some amazing music on it. Including a butt load of great artists including Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, this album called "Mirror," is a dark album but the results and sounds are fantastic! Dave's voice sounds very 'Songs of Faith and Devotion' era. Frances Lawson also has a great track on this album too. I just wish all music nowadays was as cohesive and solid as this album is. But it! You'll like it! That's it!

OCTOBER 1!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Can you believe it is October 1 today, what happeend to September? It boggles my mind that Halloween is right around the corner... wtf? I also can't believe that my best friend and his/my sister will be turning 32 on October 11. The years really do fly by.

What are you going to be for Halloween, any ideas? I'm not sure if I am going to dress this year, last year I was a sailor but that was pretty boring!

PA-LIZ ARE BOTH DUMB!!!

Did you happen to catch The View this morning? If you didn't see it then I suggest you log onto YouTube and find it - it was great television!!! The cat fight was of course four against one, all the gals were at Elisabeth's throat regarding Sarah Palin, and she deserved it.

It got especially heated, leading to a commercial break when Barbara Walters acknowledged Hasselbecks contributions to the show and told her that she loved her being apart of the panel but she asked her why she always defends the Republican ticket and never looks at them critically. Hasselbeck then said that she once said that Obama was a great man. Um, Lis, that's not what Walters was saying!!!! Lis went into Palin Mode and couldn't even answer the questions correctly! They couldn't even show the second clip of Palin not correctly answering Couric's question about what national magazines she regularly reads - check it out below, it's a great laugh! COURIC ASKED THREE TIMES!!!!!!

On a seperate, yet similiar note, Jimmy Kimmel had a funny commentary last night about Palin's jab at Biden's age. He had a few funny one liners but the one that was the most halarious was him responding back to Mrs. McCain's laughing to Palin's joke about Biden's age. Kimmel noted that Cindy is married to a Branchiosaurus. Kimmel is a total stud and him and his writers are pretty ingenious! Joseph Siyam, can we go see Kimmel again?

Big Brother Photos Posted!!!

Half of the pictures that we took at the CBS Backlot Party for Big Brother 10 are now posted on my MySpace. I have been reluctant to write about the night in depth because I know hardly anyone cares but I can mention some highlites of the MAGICAL night - yes magical bitches!!

The important people I wanted to meet I gathered up the courage to meet. Mostly those were the winner of BB10 Dan, who wasn't overly friendly to me but Chi Chi says that he was friendly to her so maybe he loves drag queens. What am I saying? Everyone loves a drag queen. Er, maybe not, strike that! Chi Chi said that Ollie wasn't too welcoming! So Dan said 'Hello' to me and was a bit standoffish but you could tell that he is sweet guy... LOVE HIM TO PIECES!!!!

I met the gay bull riding champion, Steven as well. I accidentally called him Brian which he got all bent out of shape about for like 30 seconds, but then was sweet as ever. He came back to The Abbey with Chi Chi and hung out, what a genuine guy! Rumor has it that him, Steve Cruz and Johnny Hazzard were fond of each other. Read Chi Chi's blog if you want to know the news.

Libra was fantabulous! Friendly and so friggin' warm! I met others from last season as well but the one I couldn't wait to meet the most was RENNY. I called her America's Favorite Mom! Renny was easily the most popular person at the event. At all times Renny had men and women around her, asking for pictures, autographs, etc...

Renny and I spoke for at least five minutes and she told me to stop by and see her in New Orleans when I am in town, how sweet! When Dee Dee gives me the pictures I will post the rest, and believe me, he has the best ones! Speaking of Dee Dee, she really came through for me. I honestly can't remember a time when I was anymore elated and floating off the floor. While most guests/invitees there had a look of entitlement to be there, I knew that I was so fortunate to be there and I kept thanking Dee Dee for inviting me. Dee Dee, do you read my blog? If you do, I LOVE YOU!!! Thank you again for inviting me... now gimme the pics bitch! =)

DECISION 08!!!

I have been slacking so much at blogging for you guys that it took me a trip to Starbucks to complete my task of blogging - happy now?

So ever since I left Vegas I have been on this mission to get the new iPhone 3G, 16gb in White. Currently I have the phone in black and it's an 8gb phone however I have come to realize that 8gb is not enough for me - I'm a size queen! Funny that now I need it, when I initially bought the iPhone I didn't need to memory, now I do!

In order to buy the new iPhone I need to sell my current one for as much money as possible. Last night I posted it as $600 and got one email back from a guy that said he was interested but wondered why so much for the phone. You and I know why, to cover the cost of my new iPhone but I had to make up some lies that it was for the inconvenience of buying a new one and my phone having to be turned off for a week... I don't think he bought it, I haven't heard back from him. If I don't get the new iPhone it's no harm to my social being but I wanted the pretty white iPhone.
