I LOVE IT!!!!

She might need some serious help to control her Out of Control life but this song is just amazing... amazing!!!

Last Weekend's Adventures: Part One

I have to tell you a secret about François Sagat that I hope he doesn't hate me for!

Sorry François but I have to tell the world you had no idea what Taco Bell was - or were you joking with me? Actually I introduced him to a host of new things while he was in LA, including PinkBerry and In-N-Out! Since he had never had a Double Double after I picked him up from Dee Dee's care I took him to the In-N-Out near my place.

Anyway, after we finished going through In-N-Out (and he finished gawking at the 18-year old drive thru boy) we went straight to my house, Francois was eager to eat his FIRST EVER In-n-Out hamburger. Can you believe he wanted to eat his Double Double on a plate? I looked at him in disbelief, putting my hand over my heart (kinda like the picture below.)

Seriously who eats In-N-Out on a plate? I had to explain to him that you tear open the bag and eat it just like that!

(Minutes after Sagat tasted his first bite of PinkBerry... we both wanted the boy who served us to-go!!)

PinkBerry was also a new experience for him too, but he quickly learned how great that cocaine ice cream is! While we were in WeHo on Thursday we had it and then less than 48 hours later we were at The Grove and we discovered a PinkBerry that had just opened up two days prior. (Can you imagine? There's so much sweet stuff to choose from at The Farmers Market and he wants PinkBerry - the boy must be gay!)

(Above driving to The Grove with a few drinks in our system!)

At The Grove we walked around and I introduced Sagat to Mole enchiladas - thankfully he liked them because he's not a fan of spicey food.

The most interesting thing I observed while I was with Sagat at The Grove was the peoples reactions to his tattoo on his scalp. It strikes me as odd that anyone would look at it or even give it a second glance. Call me crazy but when I first saw the tattoo it wasn't a big deal to me. I didn't stare, obsess over it or want to ask him ten thousands questions about it. I know it bugs him when people ask him questions about it and in a way I got a bit upset seeing people just gaze at him like he was an alien or something.

While we were eating our PinkBerry there were two kids that were sitting on the trolley behind him and they too were fixated on his scalp. Being only five or six I couldn't help but wonder if they were starring at the tattoo or if they knew he was a porn star... I'm kidding!!!

I am including some other pictures of the weekend, although I am still waiting for Sagat to send me his pictures! Overall I think he had a good time and drank entirely WAY too much. It was nice sharing stories with Sagat about guys we like and guys that have hurt us that we cared for. I also found out that we have the same taste in guys - Thank God he doesn't live here he would get all the guys and I would have NOTHING - LOL! While he was here we drank, laughed, partied and even cried a bit!
What a good friend, I can't wait until Folsom!!!

WHAT AN A-HOLE!

CHECK THIS OUT....

GLAAD CALLS ON TUCKER CARLSON, MSNBC TO APOLOGIZE
FOR INSENSITIVE REMARKS CONDONING VIOLENCE

New York, Wednesday, August 29 – The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) today called on Tucker Carlson, NBC News and MSNBC to apologize for remarks made on Tuesday night that appear to condone violent assault.

On the Tuesday, Aug. 28 edition of “MSNBC Live with Dan Abrams” MSNBC host Tucker Carlson referenced an incident from his past when he was the recipient of an unwanted advance from another man. Carlson told program host (and MSNBC General Manager) Dan Abrams and fellow MSNBC host Joe Scarborough that after being “bothered” by a man in a restroom in a Washington, D.C., mall, Carlson returned “with someone [he] knew and grabbed the guy… and hit him against the stall with his head, actually. And then the cops came and arrested him.” Abrams and Scarborough are seen chuckling throughout Carlson’s telling of the story.

Earlier today, GLAAD called Abrams' office to discuss NBC News and MSNBC's response to Carlson's behavior. Abrams' office responded with an e-mailed statement attributed to Carlson, which read:

Let me be clear about an incident I referred to on MSNBC last night: In the mid-1980s, while I was a high school student, a man physically grabbed me in a men's room in Washington, DC. I yelled, pulled away from him and ran out of the room. Twenty-five minutes later, a friend of mine and I returned to the men's room. The man was still there, presumably waiting to do to someone else what he had done to me. My friend and I seized the man and held him until a security guard arrived.

Several bloggers have characterized this is a sort of gay bashing. That's absurd, and an insult to anybody who has fought back against an unsolicited sexual attack. I wasn't angry with the man because he was gay. I was angry because he assaulted me.

The statement is not only a failed attempt to justify Carlson’s advocacy of violence, but also changes key details of the previous night’s on-air story. First, Carlson does not repeat his assertion that he "hit him against the stall with his head," instead changing his story to say that he "seized the man and held him down until a security guard arrived." The security guard element is also newly invented. In his on-air statement, Carlson said that "the cops came and arrested him."

"Carlson's story was difficult to watch on two levels," said GLAAD Senior Director of Media Programs Rashad Robinson. "To see someone brag on national television of returning, with an accomplice, to the scene of an unwanted advance to violently attack the person who made it is incredibly disturbing. But it was also hard to watch because of the sheer absurdity of most of what Carlson was saying."

"Whether Abrams and Scarborough were laughing with Carlson or laughing at him, the fact remains that MSNBC and NBC News have some explaining to do about their standards and practices," Robinson said. "They need to explain whether bragging about physically assaulting a man in response to an unwanted advance is appropriate on-air behavior for one of their employees, and whether laughter by two others is an appropriate on-air response."
PLEASE CONTACT NBC NEWS AND MSNBC TODAY. Ask Tucker Carlson to apologize and ask NBC News and MSNBC if Carlson’s on-air comments are reflective of their network’s standards and practices.

TIP OF MANNERS FROM MISS MANNERS

I don't want pity, however generally when you discover someone has been in a car accident, human decency, kindness and respect usually kicks in and compells a "NORMAL" person to ask the other as to how they are feeling and if they're okay. I hate to wish any negative feelings on this one person but I do believe in karma!

Lyrics that remind me of someone....

I'm having light
Of the light of an angel
You may be all I've been dreaming of
I know the likes of infatuation
And I'll be surprise if this isn't love
Cuz I just want to break through
Reach out and feel you
Fall into me yeah

With you I can't speak
I can't move
I can't hardly breathe
I'm a rebeling boy
Whose never felt something like this
And it's just how it is with you

THE NEVERENDING STORY

I adored The Neverending Story as a kid - in fact I still own this movie and adore it! I loved the adventure, creating your own destiny, the friendships shared between the characters and THE NOTHING! I think we all cried when Atreyu's horse was swallowed by THE NOTHING!

As i was checking out the latest news on this beautiful movie I stumbled upon a recent picture of what Atreyu looks like now! What a major stud....

NOW:

And now for something ULTRA gay!

THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL

Sagat just posted this on my
MySpace and it reinforces the stupid things we do when you're drunk but seem cool at the moment!

Brandon Baker, Rusty and myself also thought we were pretty cool on the streets of West Hollywood abou a year ago jumping all over bubble wrap. Check the clip out below!

My Car Accident

Yesterday on my way home from the gym I was involved in a car accident.
Thankfully the picture above is NOT my car and thank God no one was hurt!
This is my first car accident in four or five years and man does it suck - however something I've noticed is that insurance companies make it so easy to file a claim.
They take your info and let you get back to life, that is so nice and comforting!

I remember my first car accident 10 year ago I was plagued with insurance companies calling me getting quotes, hassling me etc, etc... needles to say it was a big headache. This morning when my insurance broker called me (Karla, God bless her) she made it very easy and less of a headache.

For my out of state friends my black beauty was struck from behind, rear ended, by a man in a Honda. My Mustang has very little damage but his car is pretty screwed up - I guess that goes to show that Fords are really BUILT TOUGH! =)

On a separate, yet similar note, Angel Benton was also involved in a fender bender
Friday night. He too was rear ended and made it out okay - THANK GOD!

More details later...stay tuned!

New Music Tuesday

I love iTunes new music Tuesdays.

Today I bought the new Dolly Parton single, the new Carrie Underwood single, the new She Wants Revenge (SWR) single and of course - wait for it - the new Dave Gahan single "KINGDOM."

I know it might sound a bit biased because I'm a huge MODE fan but Gahan's new song is my favorite among the block of songs I just purchased. Dolly's song comes in at second with SWR's new song at a close third. Of course these song positions could change at anytime...

Stay tuned...

Gossip

Thanks to a certain someone I have 'standing in the way of control' stuck in my head - again! I would have never of guessed that he'd like this song - surprise, surprise!

A few monhs ago this was my favorite song, and it's back on heavy iPod rotation!

If you've never heard of The Gossip make sure to check them out. She is a proud lesbian and their music is some of the best
Alternative music out there right now. www.gossipyouth.co.uk

CHOCOLATE RAIN

CHOCOLATE RAIN

Chocolate Rain is an original video/song created and performed by Tay Zonday! Posted originally on YouTube, Chocolate Rain gets thousands of hits a day (right now it's over 7 million hits) and Zonday has played the U.S. night time talk show circuit promoting is song! Creative and catchy to some, others disagree thinking it is trite and a waste of three minutes. If you are the latter than I have two other Chocolate Rain knock offs that are definitely funny and worth the watch!

First up is Kermit the Frog performing "Chocolate Swine," paying homage to Miss Piggy... I think! =) Performing on the local radio station STAR 987, the clip makes me laugh every single time!

The second is Shaolin Rain. Shaolin is an intern at a local Los Angeles radio station called KROQ 106.7. The morning deejay's, Kevin and Bean love this intern and always tease her for being a robot. She has even become a regular on the show, and while I am not too sure as to how the repeated robot references came from, it's still funny! Check out the clip below.

Which one is the best? Let me know...

Welcome to my new blog site!

Welcome to my new blog site!

I started this as an alternate to my MySpace blog because I frankly don’t trust the MySpace blog site anymore. Lately there has been a lot of rumors that various MySpace blogs were deleted on accident and that MySpace is really starting to step up their Cyber Nanny police squad.

And while I applaud them for making their site cleaner for young adults and children, I don’t want to get caught up in censoring myself because anything I say might be offensive to a younger audience!
