NUMERO UNO

I'm so very proud of my band Depeche Mode, once again they have clenched the Furious Five at Nine on KROQ. I'm not sure how many nights they have been number one but last night, Wednesday, they dropped down to number two. Numero Uno last night was 'Silversun Pickups' with their new single called "Panic Switch." Depeche Mode's new song is called 'WRONG,' and is a throw back to a more industrial sounding Mode a la the album 'Some Great Reward,' mixed with their 1997 song 'Barrel of a Gun." CHOLA DORA???

If you have ten minutes to spare listen to KROQ 106.7, Kevin & Bean's skit about Tween Dora the Explorer. If you're not familiar with Dora she is the little Latin girl who has a monkey as a friend and is bilingual. Now Dora's creators are intending to make Dora a tad older, however upon Kevin & Bean talking to her on their radio show it seems as if Dora has grown up a little too fast. Fast forward the interview to the five minute mark and be prepared to start your day off with a good belly laugh - I sure did!

I SHOULDN'T LAUGH - BUT I DID ANYWAY!

I know Ellen said that we shouldn't laugh at cheap shots at the homosexual community but in this case.... well I had to. KROQ, more specifically Kevin and Bean, are friends of the homosexual movement but love to make jokes about the gays. Watch this parody of the song "LEAN LIKE A CHOLO," instead Kevin and Bean renamed it "LEAN LIKE A HOMO!"
