If someone can get me to laugh at 8:30 in the morning than that person is one of two things: a scholar or a genuinely funny person. The actor/actress Viola Davis I believe is the latter.
Starring in the movie DOUBT along side Meryl Streep, it's not necessarily how long Davis was in the movie but the difference her character made on the movie the short time she was on screen. This morning she was on GMA (Good Morning America) talking with the crew about her nomination for an OSCAR for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Drama. In her short interview with GMA she was candid, cute and extremely real. She compared her being in the same scene with Meryl Streep to going 15 rounds with Mike Tyson. She also responded to the fact that at first Oprah wanted her role and directly wrote to the director asking for this role. Can you believe she was turned down? In response Davis says that she was glad that Oprah through her a bone because she needed this job! All last night she said her and her husband couldn't sleep and they kept asking each other if the other was sleeping -NOPE! Finally, the funniest thing was when cohost Robin Roberts told her to expect a lot of phone calls today from family, friends, first, second, third and fourth cousins. Davis laughed and said that she didn't want her third and fourth cousins to call... almost as if they would have some alterior motive, LOL!

LIFE ON MARS

Did you happen to see Life on Mars tonight? If you didn't, I have one word to describe the episode I saw - UNFORGETTABLE!
Taking up the issue of gay life in the year 1973, I am not saying this show is so dynamic just because they did one episode on homosexuality! I've been watching the show for the last three weeks and all of the episodes have been well written and dynamic, I think ABC has themselves a hit! If you didn't know (because I didn't until I looked it up, but Life on Mars was originally a show over in Great Britain. After it became a success over there then it was brought to America. These days shows seem to travel all over the world being rewritten to suit the country it is being broadcast in. Shows like Little Britain, Kath and Kim, Dancing with the Stars, Big Brother, and Life on Mars are just some shows that originally debuted abroad!)
Tonight the episode was about gay bashing and gay(s) who served in the Vietnam War. I will not give away all of the juicy details of this episode but if you watch it'll definitely teach you something about tolerance and your choice of words when addressing your fellow man!

CAN YOU TOP THIS?

i enjoy watching Brothers and Sisters on ABC every Sunday for numerous reasons, the main being because the family is so normal and the plot lines aren't too outlandish. Agreed?
Last night was a pretty heavy night, filled with rich dialogue and some serious acting abilities! Gearing up for mothers day Rebecca comes clean and gives a lot of guilt to her mother ending in an extremely sad pre-Mothers Day fight.
However the best part of the television show was the marriage plot line that no one saw coming.... I can't explain it, just watch it below!!

GORILLAS IN THE MIST
The African Gorilla is such a rare creature to those who live in the America's that when I saw Nightlinewas featuring a piece on these beautiful creatures I knew that I had to tune in.
To make this feature even better one of my favorite reporters/co-anchors Cynthia McFadden on Nightline made the journey to Rwanda to witness first hand these gorgeous apes! If you missed the piece that aired late Tuesday night log onto the site below to see Cynthia's Reporters Notebook on her adventure.
But first, before you click on the link, pay close attention to her detail and eloquent writing style, she is pretty amazing - so are the apes!!!
