WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Those are the four words to best describe my show at Micky's. Yes, last night was Cocktails with the Stars and I have to say that I was VERY impressed with Spencer Reed, our guest for the evening.

Spencer is a young man that I met a few months ago at the GAYVNs in San Francisco. The story is as old but I saw him being tied up, flogged and spanked - usually this does nothing for me but I not only did I feel like giving this guy a hug because he seemed so likable I also wanted to go spank him too because his little butt was so adorable and red *wink*. We were drinking and I believe I made a move on him but he totally turned me down. I usually don't even give second glances at white boys but this kid had gusto, personality and most of all a brain - extremely hard to find all three out there. Who cares that he wasn't Latin, didn't speak another language, didn't have an uncut cock or didn't care to have sex with me... this kid was beautiful and so likable!!

Becoming long distance friends with Spencer (he does live in Washington D.C. and I am in Los Angeles) I told him that when he comes out to Los Angeles he'd have to do my show and, well... last night he came through and did just that.

Spencer engaged the crowd, was so personable was extremely hard not just love and take an immediate liking too - just like when I first met him. Among the things you missed last night was Spencer being tied up by several guests. I didn't think it would work but everyone was involved and Spencer seemed to like it. This boy could be dream man *wink*.

(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- After a nearly two year hiatus, the longest running gay adult promotion in Los Angeles returns to recapture the porn industry in West Hollywood.

What promises to be one of the most highly anticipated shows, COCKTAILS WITH THE STARS is set to splash back onto the scene on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 6 p.m. - a new time for the show! What has been a staple for the porn community featuring the hottest gay porn stars, introducing them to their fans and promoting their latest movies.

If unfamiliar with the 'Cocktails' promotion, the show has been a staple for the porn community featuring the hottest gay porn stars, introducing them to their fans and promotion the adult stars latest movies and ventures.

Join your hosts Scotty B and Angel Benton for what they promise will be an unmatched return featuring surprises, giveaways and of course... porn stars!

Throughout 'Cocktails' history it has continually raised the bar on what a porn star show should be. Incorporating the most in demand hot porn stars with some of the wildest hosts, the weekly event has evolved to what Scotty B describes as "the hottest mess you'll ever witness... in a good way! From previous hosts like Will Clark and Jason Sechrest to porn stars like Matthew Rush or the boys of RandyBlue.com, the show is always evolving.

"I'm ecstatic that Micky's and 'Cocktails' are returning, the wait has seemed like forever!" says Scotty B. "I can't wait to start inviting the Internet studios back and some of the new up-and-coming porn stars."

Keeping with present technology, 'Cocktails' has teamed with the site NickYoungXXX (www.nickyoungxxx.com) to broadcast the show weekly to the world - a first for the show. This teaming is thanks to Nick Young and the management at Micky's.

"Broadcasting the show has been a work in progress even while the bar was still in rubble, we just needed a reliable company to help, and with me already interviewing/working for Nick Young, the choice was obvious," says Scotty B.

Another first for the show is having two permanent hosts. Angel Benton explains, "Gay porn is such a huge industry now that there are literally events going on all over the world, and Scotty and I have to stay on top of that. With two of us, if one of us needs to be out of town attending an event, the other one has the show covered. And if we're BOTH in town, then the audience gets twice the fun!"

The opening night celebration will actually feature a wide variety of porn stars. The guest the following week, April 23rd, will be Cockyboys.com Exclusive (as well as star of Buckshot's "Boy Country") Bobby Clark, who will be promoting his upcoming co-hosting gig at the Grabbys Recovery Brunch in Chicago. MY PLEA

WEDNESDAY, ALL DAY!

I have been procrastinating all day long on when/if I will go to the gym today. I have some errands to run but for some reason staying at home sounds so much better than driving to Pasadena to go to the gym - man I wish Bally Total Fitness would build a gym in Monrovia, that'd be amazing!

This past week has been probably the most stressful week that I've had in a long while. Besides all the bad shit that has gone on in the past week there has been some awesome stuff - including Micky's nightclub meetings have officially resumed and we will be starting to *seriously* talk about the nightclubs future, Cocktails with the Stars, and other endeavors revolving around the bar. There is not much I can tell you but I can say this is going to be a totally DIFFERENT porn show and blow all others left away... it will really be amazing!

Months before the club burned to the ground the major thing I think the night and promotion needed was a BREAK! The night had no new ideas, no new promotions and even though we were still bringing in the hottest stars and had a lot of free giveaways from some great companies nothing that blew my skirt up was going on.

I do believe everything happens for a reason but I think the hiatus and the club has had will make everything 110% better when things finally get off the ground! I have received so much support from people in the porn industry about getting Cocktails with the Stars back up and running again, I can't wait for opening night!!!

The romance with the 20 year old boy is officially over. I guess I shoudn't call him a 'boy,' nothing about him was 'boy' like *wink*! The main problem was that we got intimate way too fast and then trying to reverse that and make dates instead of sex all the time was too difficult for him to comprehend, I think the thought that I was not interested in him. It makes me sad that it ended but then again I think it is for the best - the boy is a dominant top and two dominant tops don't get a long well in a relationship. In the future I cannot allow myself to get involved with someone so much like me! Does that sound bad or awful? I hope not, I'm just being honest and most of all realistic on what kind of person will inevitablly make me happy! Relationships are alwasy 50/50 and I don't think the fault of our crumble was either his or more, sometimes he thought I was uninterested and sometimes I was unsure but 85 percent of me wanted to get to know the kid and see what made him tick!

Yesterday my day was pretty damn full, usually my days are spent at home and working from my computer, instead I was able to spend four solid hours with my father having breakfast, fixing the refrigerator, shopping at Costco and having heart to heart conversations. After I spent a few hours with my friend Leslie who is set to give birth to her baby girl Sophia in two weeks - EEEHHH!!

After I got dressed and met up with my friend Johnny Hazzard in West Hollywood for some dinner at St. Felix. Over the past year Hazzard and I have become pretty good freinds and so have our dogs. I enjoy talking to him because he is a good listener, a wise man and a genuinely good person at heart. We had a great dinner and then strolled over to a local ice creamery that serves shakes and sundaes. The name escapes me but involves a MILLION choices of Shakes. If I had the time I would love to sit down and do the math and see if they actually do have a million different options for shakes - could I sue for lying or false advertising?

Joseph picked me up afterwards and we drove up to Hollywood Blvd. to attend the 944 Magazine/MTV Music Awards official party at the Kress Building! The building used to be the old Fredericks of Hollywood store but this looked nothing like the old store.

The Kress building is a four story building that used to be a department store during the olden days of Hollywood, appraently there was a Kress Department store in Long Beach too - FYI! Now the building hosts an awesome restuarant and three floors of night club action! While the hosted bar and celebs were on the rooftop we were forced to party on the third floor until Joseph and his friend got the sacred wristbands that would get us up on the rooftop so we could hang out with Perez Hilton, The Kardashians and some other rappers who I had no idea who they were. I felt priveleged to go becuase I thought I could meet a lot of new contacts so I could begin writing for 944 again and meet other professionals in the magazine industry - except the party was so big that didn't happen.

The party was fun but way too much testosterone and the gays were too obvious to spot out. How come in Hollywood all the gays are so fucking typical and you can point them out amongst a crowd of a hundred people? Do you know what I'm saying? I wish I could have taken a picture of some of the gays that I saw...
Anyway, the picture you see is Joseph and Hannah at the party. Hannah and I got along pretty well, her story is the same as mine - minus the single and alone part *wink*! She graduated from UCLA and is now a freelance writer but feels as if she is stuck in LA because there are virtually no chances to get ahead for aspiring journalists. She was a diva and if I didn't know any better I would have thought she was some big time writer for Cosmo or something. Her personality reminded me alot of my coworker Leslie at Beckham Grill so I liked that too! I got Hannah's information so we can keep in touch and I will - funny how two people can connect so quickly, and the funniest part about her was that she made this funny comment when we were alone about how she 'digs' gay guys. I wasn't sure what meant by 'dig' but the vibe that I receievd was that she falls in love with them and then they come out to her later... I think. I will definitly ask and clarify!

Joseph and I went over to pick up his friend John and then headed to the gay bars once again to grab some drinks and party a bit more. I didn't last too long because I was way too tired to say any longer, the only option was for me to go home - I knew the next day I would have to deal with my boss(es) and the gym so it was in my best interest to leave the day behind and the great memories with some great friends!

Since I hardly go out on the week nights and hardly get pictures taken of myself when/if I do go out I had to post this fun picture of Dee Dee, myself and TJ Young at HERE Lounge! TJ used to be a shy waiter at Micky's in West Hollywood and now he's still shy, but a full fledged gay porn star... HOT!!!

DOG DRAMA

It's been a while since I've written about my dog, JJ! He has his own picture folder on MySpace but hardly is mentioned on my blog, sorry pup!

I've been dog sitting the past few days for my good friend Johnny Hazzard (www.hazzardcentral.com.) Make sure you check out his website and become a member, he's a worthy star to be a fan of and a good guy to boot! I first met Johnny at Fubar in West Hollywood when Chi Chi LaRue had her Wednesday night club Dirty Deeds every week.
I was relatively new to the industry and I don't think I knew Chi Chi very well yet, or maybe I did, not sure! My bud TJ obsesses over Johnny and I think we were going to meet there but that didn't happen. I remember meeting Johnny and then calling TJ so he could talk to his porn idol... ever since then we've been pretty good friends. The thing what I like most about Johnny is that he's an honest person with a good work ethic. I love to be around people that have a good energy around them and he is just that!


His white pit bull mix pup Petey, above, has been here since Saturday with JJ and they've been (sorta) getting along. Here's the deal, JJ love to play and Petey doesn't really want to. JJ gets too crazy and Petey has to put JJ in his place, I am behind Petey 100 percent.

Do you see how crazy and involved I have become with these two?? Here are some pictures that I've captured from their days together... they are so crazy!!!
The picture above is of JJ and Petey after they both got into trouble. I made them lay down where they were at that point and told them not to move. The funny thing, if you notice, is the placement of JJ's tail. It rested on Petey's face and it didn't move for the next several minutes until they were done with their timeout!

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY! WHAT A LONG DAY... YAH I FEEL LIKE WRITING IN ALL CAPS TODAY BECAUSE TODAY WAS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER. I STARTED THE DAY FEELING LAZY BUT FORCED TO GO TO WORK TO WORK A DOUBLE.

AT WORK IT WAS GOOD TO SEE FINALLY SEE SALLY. NOT SURE IF I HAVE EVER SPOKE ABOUT HER BUT SHE IS ONE AMAZING PERSON AT THE GRILL. I KNOW I CAN TRUST HER AND CONFIDE IN HER FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING - ACTUALLY THIS WHOLE RESTAURANT LOVES TO GOSSIP BUT HARDLY EVER REPEATS IT, THAT IS EXTREMELY RARE!

ALL DAY LONG I COULDN'T WAIT TO COME HOME AND WATCH BIG BROTHER (I MISSED LAST NIGHTS EPSISODE). INSTEAD OF STAYING HOME I WENT TO HOLLYWOOD TO CELEBRATE KIMMIE'S BDAY AT RED ROCK ON SUNSET AND HANG WITH SOME FRIENDS ON THE BOULEVARD. OH, I GOT TO SEE MY FAVORITE BARTENDER OF ALL TIME: PABLO (SEE ABOVE). HE'S ACTUALLY MY NEXT BOYFREIND... BUT HE IS STILL WITH ARMANDO SO WE HAVE TO RESPECT HIS WISHES *GRIN*!!!


SO I CAME HOME AND WATCHED A GLORIOUS, BEAUTIFUL WEBISODE OF BIG BROTHER!!! CRAZY JAMES (OUR AMATEUR PORNSTAR) GETS HIS REVENGE, IF YOU FOLLOW THE SHOW YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! WRITERS COULDN'T HAVE WRITTEN THIS YUMMY PLOT LINE IF THEY TRIED, I LOVE THE SHOW CONSIDERING ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE HOUSEHOLD ARE RELATIVELY THE SAME AGE, LOOK ALIKE, HAVE THE SAME VIEW POINTS AND ARE BACKSTABBERS... OH YAH, WAIT THATS WHY I LOVE THIS SHOW.

NUMBERS RESTAURANT

I have been very curious about what is to become of Numbers restaurant in WeHo. I believe it closed numerous months ago, however it was only a few weeks ago I drove by the second story, hidden restaurant to see a sign on the window that said DIGITS! Anyway, it has become a daily obsession to check the Internet on anything related to this new restaurant! If you've never heard of the world famous Numbers restaurant and bar... Google it! I decided to Google the name to see what came up and interestingly enough a website called GridSkipper did an review on it.

COCKTAILS WITH THE STARS

It makes me feel so good when people hunt me down when I am out and about and tell me how much they miss Cocktails with the Stars! Every time I go out I get compliments and inquiries of when CWTS is returning, when Micky's will open back up and if I will be the returning host of the show.

Honestly, I know the answers to two of those three questions. I do know that CWTS is coming back and I know that Micky's will be rebuilt - but if I will be the returning host I have no clue... that's up to Micky's management and Jason, lead bartender and promoter of the weekly event.

I have not spoken about CWTS on my blog since its inception because it's a very taboo topic. I feel that if I talk too much about it and expect to get asked back and it doesn't happen that would be very sad... and funny at the same time for my assumptions.

Many people have asked me to start up a CWTS-esque show and so far I am reluctant to accept. Micky's was a very basic format with no frills and could have used a kick in the ass or the wallet but money never seemed to be incorporated into the promotion. except for the weekly porn star payments, my pay, and advertisements in Odyssey. In no way am I talking shit, but my theory is 'if you want to make money you have to spend money' and with numerous other shows around town competing, doing similar promotions should put management in a position to step-up their game in a show. I liked the format of Micky's show overall, no complaints. Besides the fact that I begged for a new banner, which is now gone and they are FORCED to get a new one - bitter sweet, very bitter sweet!

So besides people coming up to me asking questions another thing that makes me so fuckin' proud to be a part of the show is when people send me photos or videos.
One friend in particular (www.myspace.com/jimadonna  ) he shall remain anonymous *wink* created two beautiful videos incorporating two of my favorite things in this world: hot men and depeche mode!
